Our Story

Ateram Studios, Inc. was founded in memory of Mareta Fowler Spikes by her son Vee Spikes II, out of a passion to leave a legacy to her descendants. Mareta Fowler Spikes was born on October 22, 1955 to Bessie and Mose Fowler. She married Vee Spikes, Sr. and they had two sons and a daughter: Tyre Spikes, Vee Spikes II, and Ladaysha Augillard Spikes. Mareta had one granddaughter, her namesake, Jasmine Mareta Spikes. When Mareta passed away in August of 2008, a hole was ripped into our little family that is still healing. To honor his mother's memory, Vee Spikes II started creating videos to leave a legacy for their descendants. Since he used to make his mother laugh a lot, many of the videos are funny. Some speak from the heart. As Vee's creativity with video creating, editing, writing, animating, producing, and acting got better and better, people requested his services for commercials, memorial, and special event videos. Ateram Studios, Inc. was officially incorporated in the State of Texas in 2021.
